Hello everyone and welcome back to HimoViral Blog today I'm going to go over some of the redbubble settings that you should have on your shop once you've set it up, and if you're just getting started on redbubble, that's even better because you can set these up right away so that you're set up for success.
Some of these settings really sort of hidden and tough to locate if you've had a business for a while; I know I wasn't aware of some of them until lately.
I wanted to include all of these setting suggestions in one article so it could be your one-stop-shop for redbubble setting guidance and tips, whether you're new to the site or have been there for a long. Some of these settings are a little hard to see, which is why I named them hidden settings.
I'll share them all with you in today's post, and you'll be able to learn more about them.
If you want to learn more about redbubble and print on demand in general, feel free to subscribe to my blog.
The first setting advice I have is one that many people have asked me about, and I quickly mentioned it in one of my early red bubble videos, but I didn't go into too much detail, so I just wanted to bring it into this post and kind of speak about it and my strategy behind it.
Set-up your margins
The first suggestion is to establish your margins from the beginning. Some people aren't aware that they can modify your profit margins on Redbubble, and they have it set to the default amount that comes with your account, which means you're losing money. It's quite standard practice to boost those margins. Almost every item I see on Redbubble has a margin linked to it.
Enable Bubblemail
My second tip for you guys is to enable bubble mail because it's one of the best ways to connect with the Redbubble community and your customers. If you don't know what bubble mail is, it's a pretty cool feature that red bubble has where it's pretty much like a direct message or email feature or even a chat feature of the website.
I know a lot of other print-on-demand sites don't have this so I like that aspect about redbubble.
My favorite part is when buyers message you and leave you a nice little note after buying one of your items because it makes you smile and makes you feel appreciated and it just lets you know that people are really enjoying your design and sometimes they even give you a back story as to why they bought your stuff so I think that's pretty cool.
It's a fantastic setting to have because it makes artists more accessible to not only their fans but also other people on the platform so you can learn from them. It also gives you an advantage over other artists who don't have this setting because you can now get to know the people who like your work.
I'm not sure if this part is true or not because I'm just speculating, but I feel like every time you enable a feature on a website that isn't required but is a bonus, it kind of promotes you in the eyes of that website, making them more likely to push out your work over someone else's that doesn't have those features enabled.
They may also roll out new features to you first in their beta testing stage since they know you utilize all of the different features they offer, so you'll get a head start on knowing what's going out on the platform and receiving it first.
So now that you know what bubble mail is and how it works, I'll teach you how to set it up for yourself in the settings.
Starting on the homepage, go to your dashboard, go to your account settings section, and then edit your profile. This is where you can edit all of the basic aspects of your profile like your name, header picture, profile picture, and it's also where you can enable your bubble mail. In the allow users to section, you can see it has the send you bubble mail options, so just click that and save your settings.
