So it is essential to use relevant Redbubble tags and Redbubble descriptions in this article.
I will discuss SEO's importance and show what free tag generator tools (Google Trends, Merch Titans Automation) I use to promote my designs to increase my organic traffic. It is up to you guys to follow these tags and description format. I hope these methods help!.
I like to keep my article organized, so I'm going to divide it into three parts. I highly suggest you read this article throughout for you to understand today's topic fully:
Part 1:
- What is SEO or search engine optimization?
- Why is SEO important?
Part 2 :
- Redbubble description Tutorial
Part 3 :
- Redbubble Tags Tutorial.
What is SEO?
Organic search engine rankings boost those who don't know what SEO does. It increases the quantity and quality of visitors to your website. And organic search is the most significant contributor for redbubble.
Why is SEO important?
According to the comparable web, as of February 2021, Redbubble has a 99.99 organic search and just 0.01 paid search. With this knowledge, you may take advantage of it by working smart and optimizing or using SEO in both your description and tags.
Now I'll show you how I enter my descriptions. I chose this topic first because not only are there few articles and videos on it, but many redbubble users overlook its relevance in helping you increase traffic to your redbubble shop.
According to redbubble's blog, with a good description and tagging methods, you may utilize precise keywords to put your artworks at the top of search results not just on redbubble but also on other search engines like Google resulting in the discovery and, most importantly, sales.
If you haven't filled out your descriptions on Redbubble, you're not doing yourself any favors if you're looking to gain more views on your creative work. So there you have it, keep in mind that while writing your descriptions, you don't have to use random terms; instead, you can work smart by optimizing your SEO.
So, without further ado, I bring my redbubble description format to you. I came up with this style after a lot of trial and error, and it was also the one that landed me my first sale. I reproduced and refined it along the road, and the result is what you see here.
(adjective) design perfect for (target population) who loves (niche). It can also be given as a (holiday) gift to your (boyfriend/girlfriend/ best friend/relative) who also loves (niche). design is also fitting in time for (special event day)
let's explain more :
- I begin by using an adjective to describe my design. How you describe your design is entirely up to you. I only use three: colorful, cute, and perfect, which sounds the most generic.
- I write down the demographics of people interested in a particular speciality.
- I wrote what holiday would be the most incredible time to present it as a gift to a significant other friend or family interested in this area.
- I specify what particular occasion this design should be worn or shown for.
I'd want you to concentrate just on the highlighted and bold sections :
- Adjective
- Target population
- Holiday boyfriend/girlfriend/ best friend/relative
- Niche
- Special event day
I hope this strategy works as well for you as it did for me; if it does, please let me know in the comments.
Now let's move on to step 3 to increase your traffic and sales by inputting the suitable tags given on redbubble. You are limited to applying 15 tags to your design before uploading it, which may seem insufficient, but there is a bright and proper method to accomplish it.
However, it is disappointing to note that a group of users are deliberately tag spamming to appear on the top page, which produces a slew of issues for new red bubble users and the platform itself.
If you're reading this and you employ tag spamming, I strongly suggest you cease doing so since it might result in your Redbubble store being suspended.
I highly propose that you follow the method I'm about to demonstrate because it is safe and effective. Not only did this strategy help me improve store traffic, but I believe it also helped me increase sales.
I created a table so that we can walk through the process together. The left column shows how I formatted my redbubble tags, while the right column shows how I formatted my redbubble tags.
Let's suppose I wanted to upload a popular design, so I used a popular and effective redbubble tool to find a tag that piqued my attention. The tag I discovered was women history month, and I double-checked that it didn't have a trademark. You can verify if a tag has a trademark by visiting Trademarkia.
First tag
I'm going to put this as my first tag since that's where I found it. I'm going to place the major source on the first tag because it'll be the foundation for my subsequent tags.
you can also use different sources for your first tag like :
- Trending bubble
- Bubble trends
Sub-niche
for my second to the sixth tag, I input the sub-niche.
For those who do not know what a sub-niche is, it is simply a smaller segment of a topic. For example, sports is considered a niche because there are different types of sports. Knowing that sports have different types, it is then categorized into different types of sports like swimming or running, which is now considered a sub-niche.
You can find different sub-niche tags on redbubble, which is one of my favorite features of this platform. Simply go to redbubble and type in the trending tag, and you'll see the sub-niche tags under the search bar, which are important because these are terms that customers may be searching for in order to buy.
You've probably observed that the further you go, the less competition there is. It's entirely up to you how far and how you go to select your sub-niche tag; in my case, I choose sub-niches with the fewest results.
you also still need to make sure that all these sub-niche tags are trademark free.
I strongly advise you to use sub-niche tags with fewer than 200 results because your design is more likely to appear on the first or second page for that tag. However, you must still ensure that all of these sub-niche tags are relevant.
Google trends
I used google trends for my 7th to 10th tag. Google trends is also a great tag generator because about 70 000 people use google search every second, and that is what it is for. It is also very easy to use; all you have to do is go to the website and input the chosen tags or niche you are focusing on, and google trends sort it by descending order from the most searched word to the least searched word.
Another tag generator tool
I use another tag generation application called merge titans automation, or MTA, for my 11 to 15 tag. The merge titans automation tool instantly creates a list of the most popular redbubble tags from the best-selling goods, which you can easily duplicate. I just chose the top five most popular tags.
Simply sign in with your email address to get started. We're ready to post now that we've completed the 15 tags. Regarding the evergreen designs, I just altered the format to this, which you are welcome to use. Depending on the sort of tag generator you're using, how you rearrange or modify tags is totally up to you.
