How to Get Monetized on YouTube Fast  2022 Guide (Make Money On YouTube)

My record for posting videos on a completely new channel from scratch and satisfying the conditions for monetization is two weeks, and the channel was approved into the YouTube partner program and monetized by the fourth week.

So it just takes one month to get from having no uploads on a channel to having a monetized channel. Imagine being monetized and generating money on YouTube in one month.

Let's do some arithmetic and see whether it's even feasible to get monetized on YouTube in less than a month.

Quick disclaimer: this is a hypothetical circumstance that in no way guarantees anything.

You'll be monetized if you publish videos for a month, but I genuinely feel this will assist you a lot. You'll need 4000 hours of view time and 1000 subscribers to satisfy the monetization program's requirements.

You might be thinking that's a lot and that it'll take forever, but it can happen faster than you think. Let me introduce you to the 30-day YouTube monetization challenge. If you were to take me up on this challenge and upload a new video to your channel every single day for 30 days, your channel would be monetized in no time.

Let's assume each of your movies is 12 minutes in length on average, and each of your videos has a 50 audience view duration, which means that each person who sees your video watches roughly half of it or six minutes of watch time per view.

Remember, we need to get that four thousand hour of watch time, and four thousand hours is 240000 minutes, so if our videos get six minutes of average watch time per view, we'll need 40 000 total views to hit those four thousand hours of watch time. That sounds like a lot until we break it down and see that the average view count per video that we'll need to aim for is only 133 views per video, and if you upload more than 30 videos, you'll only need 133 views per video.

This is just an average view count per video, and from running a lot of channels myself, I've noticed that about 80 percent of the views come from only 20 percent of the videos. What's more likely to happen is that you'll upload a lot of videos with little to no traction, and then one or a couple of videos that get a lot of traction. Now you might be thinking, what about a thousand subscribers? How can I hit that in 30 days?.

My channels have a three percent view to subscriber ratio, which means that for every 100 views, I'd want to see three new members on the channel.

If we get 40 000 total views and 3% of those views subscribe, that's 1 200 new subscribers, which meets the monetization criteria. Now you might be thinking,  is this possible and can I truly achieve this?

This is a hypothetical case where this might happen, and I've gotten channels monetized in under a month, and I've had loads of friends get their channels monetized in just a few months, but you're probably wondering how long this will take.

The average youtube channel with 1000 to 10,000 subscribers has about 150 videos on it, and if you uploaded three videos every week, it would take about a year to get those 150 videos, which will hopefully translate into at least a thousand subscribers so you can get monetized, but this is the average channel with 1000 to 10,000 subscribers now most channels on youtube have no idea what they're doing and have no strategy in place.

I'll provide you with a real method in this post so you may perhaps meet these standards sooner.

Just look at any of your favorite YouTuber's initial videos, and you'll notice that they weren't the best in the world at the time, but they developed with time, and most YouTubers, learned the hard way via trial and error what works and what doesn't.

With these tips, we can speed up the process and maybe become monetized much faster. I truly wish someone had told me these tips when I first started my channels.

Now you're probably thinking, "give me the secrets," and I'll offer them to you if you promise me that you'll utilize them because it can alter your channel and your entire life if you start generating money from your channel and turn it into a real business.

Upload 30-60 Videos As Start

 

The first key is to publish 30 to 60 videos to your channel right now. If you don't upload any videos to your channel, you won't gain any views, subscribers, or anything, and you won't be monetized. I hope to see at least some traction within the first 30 to 60 videos that I put on a channel.

They may ask,  how often should I upload? This leads me to secret number two.

keep a consistent upload schedule

Secret number two is to keep a consistent upload schedule. I recommend aiming to upload at least one video every week; if you can do more than that, do three videos a week; if you can do more than that, do a video every day; however, I recommend starting with one video a week and seeing how much you can upload; you can always increase the frequency, which is typically better than decreasing it; and be realistic about this and think about a schedule that you can stick to.

Do not guess 

Secret number three, and this is the most important, do not guess. This is a mistake I made in the beginning, and it's a mistake that most YouTubers make as well. They guess what type of content they should make, how they should make it, how they should optimize it, and everything else when they should be looking at what has already worked on youtube.

So as a suggestion : 

• Do not enter a niche that has not been proved to succeed on YouTube.
• Do not submit video ideas that have not already had a large number of views.
•  Make sure there are at least a couple of videos with over a hundred thousand views within your niche.

I advocate modeling what has already worked, such as :

• Video ideas that have previously worked.
•  Title ideas that have previously worked. 
•  Thumbnails that have previously worked: If you see that every single thumbnail in your niche includes a red circle, this is a solid indication that you should incorporate red circles in your thumbnails.

This does not mean that you should copy everyone exactly, but rather that you should use these channels as inspiration and model what has already worked. Now you may be wondering why would they watch my videos instead of the competition, especially if there are better videos on youtube, and how can I get views, subscribers, watch time, and monetized. 

Well, YouTube is huge, and there are more viewers There has never been anything like it on the platform, and fierce competition may be a positive thing. I know it sounds crazy, but if there's a lot of competition in your field, your films have a better chance of being recommended in the suggested video feed of those competitors' videos.

You simply need to make sure that your videos are on par with the competition, which means that you should watch one of your competitors' videos and then one of your own and ask yourself if I were a viewer looking for a video, which one would I get the most value from? Value can be educational or entertainment value, and you don't have to be the absolute best videos within your niche to potentially get millions of views and subscribers.

Get monetized before getting monetized

Secret number four, and this one may seem remarkable at first, but bear with me on this one: become monetized before you get monetized. Now, you may be thinking, "What do you mean by getting monetized before you get monetized?" Well, it may sound ridiculous, but you may become monetized before reaching a thousand subscribers in 4 000 hours of watch time by first ensuring that you're in a strong niche connected to what you're doing, as advised Your niche would be : 

• health 
• wealth
•  happiness 
•  relationships 

Why do these niches potentially get monetized sooner? Because there's a lot of demand for products within these niches, you can become an affiliate for these products from places like digistore24.com or clickbank.com, and there's a ton of products you can promote to potentially make money way sooner.

You may even make and sell your product or online course through your channel. You can teach people how to succeed on YouTube and earn over $100,000 a month from the online course.

 

By selling an online course, a lot of people made over $75,000 with fewer than two thousand subscribers.

 it's best to be in a niche related to:

• Health 
• Wealth
• Happiness 
• Relationships

because there's a ton of demand for buying products within these niches not to say you can't make courses and you can't promote products outside these niches but typically I like to look for some sort of sub niche within these main categories.

Ensuring That Your Videos Can Be Monetized. 

Secret number five is ensuring that your videos can be monetized. Imagine having a thousand subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time and not being able to monetize your videos. You'd probably throw your computer against the wall, and I wouldn't blame you, but there are a few key things we can do to ensure that our content is good and that we can be monetized.

Don't re-upload other people's videos 

Don't just build Tiktok compilations and re-upload them to your channel; you won't be paid for it, and even if you do, it'll be for a short time.

If you want to utilize other people's stuff in your videos, that's OK.

Many of the top channels(reaction channels) with millions of subscribers do precisely this, and I have a lot of friends that do the same thing. I teach them how to do this and monetize, but you need to make sure you're doing it the right way, which is by following the steps below:

• Fair use.
• Make sure you have an original human voice-over on the video.
• Make sure you follow youtube's policies.
• Make sure your content is transformative.

Make sure that you have a human voiceover

Some channels have made money using robot text-to-speech voice-overs, but many haven't, so I wouldn't advocate taking the chance, especially because your videos are likely to do much better with a human voiceover anyway.

Make family-friendly content

I don't encourage using excessive profanity or displaying anything violent or graphic in your videos and make sure you obey all of the restrictions and YouTube's monetization policies. Remember that a person from YouTube will be reviewing your channel, so it's better to follow these regulations. Even if you do become monetized and breach a rule, it'll only be temporary, so it's best to follow the rules. get your channel monetized and establish a long-term business with it, trust me, it's worth it to start collecting those monthly YouTube income.
